Mr. Carreiro joined Colbeck in 2024 as a Managing Director on the investment team. He also serves as the Firm’s Head Investment Counsel. Prior to joining Colbeck, Mr. Carreiro was a senior member of the Private Credit Team at Summit Partners. While at Summit, he led the execution and oversight of domestic and cross-border debt and equity investments through all stages of the deals. Mr. Carreiro’s role also involved advising the Investment Committee and Portfolio Managers on investment-related legal matters, managing loan workouts and restructurings, and partnering with portfolio management teams on complex corporate transactions. Prior to joining Summit Partners Mr. Carreiro was a corporate finance attorney at Brown Rudnick LLP. Mr. Carreiro holds a JD, summa cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and a BS, magna cum laude, from Endicott College. Mr. Carreiro previously served in the United States Coast Guard.
